The checked baggage is a baggage you show during check-in. Such baggage is carried in the hold of the aircraft. Each airline company has its own rules and limits for baggage transportation. Pay attention to this information while choosing the flight and carrier.

The information on free baggage allowance for the chosen flight is displayed on the ticket booking page. Usually the free baggage allowance is one carry-on baggage item of 3–15 kg and one checked baggage item of 20–23 kg per passenger.

Some airlines allow only one free item of carry-on baggage.

Some airlines offer transportation of checked baggage only for an additional fee. Read the terms of the baggage transportation for the chosen flights in the tariff rules during the booking process.

You are not recommended to include the following items in the baggage:

• perishable or fragile items;
• precious or rare items;
• keys, money and documents;
• gadgets and other digital/office equipment.
